The Dawn of Darkness is my debut novel, the result of years of experimentation and practice. It has a bit of everything, from horror to romance, while remaining a fantasy action-adventure at its core. Its varied nature reflects the characters’ experiences of being pulled from stable lives into something bigger that requires them to try new things to flourish. However, their adventure is not all fun and games; dark times are coming, and they must grow into the best people they can be to save what they love.
Ewan of Cantershire is content in his life—the life of a young nobleman, filled with wealth, comfort, and recreation.
Then, an elusive foe strikes at paranoid empires.
Monarchs point fingers.
And Ewan's world crumbles around him.
His only option is to embark on a state-sanctioned archaeology quest. It looks like a miracle ticket to avoiding the world's problems, but instead, it places him in the heart of everything.
